Rules of participation in Yandex Advertising Network
Any resource that meets requirements of this document (the "Rules of Participation") and terms of Yandex Advertising Network Terms of Offer, posted at: https://yandex.com/legal/yan_service_offer_aeand https://yandex.com/legal/yan_service_offer_arm (the "Offer") may join Yandex Advertising Network ("YAN").
1. Requirements to the Partner Resources:
1.1. The following resources are not allowed to join YAN:
a) failing to comply with the requirements of the applicable laws;
b) promoting discrimination based on gender, race, nationality, religion, social status and income;
c) containing offensive and (or) pornographic content;
d) that are online casinos, bookmakers, sweepstakes and/or other resources that are organizers of online gambling;
e) that promise users to earn real money and / or digital currency and / or in-game currency (which can be withdrawn to other resources, transferred to another user, exchanged for real money and / or digital currency, as well as goods and / or services) for viewing content (including advertising), for completing tasks, for the time spent on the resource and (or) clicking on ads (banners) or other types of advertising, as well as other similar types of earnings on the Internet;
f) that are domain parking, file hosting service;
g) that have content that misleads users;
h) that contain potentially malicious software;
i) that do not meet the requirements of the license to use the Yandex search engine (https://yandex.com/legal/termsofuse).
j) that encourage users to click on or view ads, as well as to use other unfair methods of getting obtaining clicks; providing functionality for the implementation of automatic clicks;
k) that are home pages, unmoderated forums, low-quality message boards or unstructured (poorly structured) directories/catalogs, one-page websites, pages in social networks, etc;
l) that are doorways, i.e.pages on the Internet, the main purpose of which is to redirect the user to other websites other than the page to which the user was supposed to go;
m) which main purpose is to display ads;
n) that do not have content and that are not available for viewing, with the exception of service pages and authorization pages.
o) that copy or rewrite information from other resources with low-quality automatic translation of content into another language that do not create original content;
p) that contain directories/catalogs (articles, programs, enterprises, etc.) that do not create texts and descriptions independently and do not provide any unique service;
q) that are websites or groups of websites that intensively link to each other ("link farms");
r) that are groups of websites of the same owner/company that provide the user with the same goods, services or the same type of information created for the purpose of filling several positions in search results and collecting traffic;
s) resources that have signs of financial pyramids;
t) religious resources.
1.2. To participate in the Partner's mobile applications in the YAN, the Partner undertakes to first confirm the right to connect to the YAN and place Advertising on the specified mobile applications by passing verification (i) by entering a unique code received by email specified in the application store, or (ii) by adding the app-ads.txt file with your ClientID from the Partner interface to the root of the site specified in the application store. The Partner's resources will not be allowed to place Advertising on them if the Partner does not have confirmation of the rights to the application and/or lacks information about the developer's email and/or website (due to the impossibility of passing the described verification procedure).
1.3. Yandex reserves the right to reject any resource if it does not meet the requirements of the Offer and/or the Rules of Participation without any explanations.
2. Requirements for operation of Partner Resources
2.1. When calculating Partner's remuneration, any artificially (unfairly) reproduced cost-per-clicks and displays, all methods of creation of which are strictly prohibited, are not taken into account when calculating Partner’s remuneration. At the same time, the Partner of Yandex Advertising Network undertakes:
2.1.1. not to place phrases or images above Yandex ads that artificially draw attention to ad units, such as "pay attention", "our sponsors", "click here", "support us", "menu" and etc.;
2.1.2. not to create requests directly or indirectly, not to display ads or clicks thereon on any search results and/or on contextual pages and contextually targeted advertising (independently or through the involvement of third parties) manually and/or using any possible software and hardware, including, but not limited to, by using any automatic methods for reproducing displays and clicks (multiple clicks, use of software agents, etc.);
2.1.3. not to change the hyperlink addresses contained in the advertisement, not to otherwise change the user's redirection from the advertisement, not to replace or in any other way prevent the user from accessing the pages (resources) to which hyperlinks in Yandex ads lead when the user accesses such advertisement (clicks);
2.1.4. not to delete, edit, add, place, lay additional elements over the ads (including, but not limited to, interface elements), not to minimize the ads, not to apply filters thereto, not to change the order, appearance and other characteristics of the display of ads on the established advertising spaces.
2.1.5. Placement of Ads in the Advertising Spaces may be accompanied by the following marks: "Ads", "₽", "P", with an indication of the Advertiser or his website, the website page about him, or other similar mark determined by Yandex at its sole discretion.
2.1.6. not place Ads on behalf of Yandex on third-party advertising systems and ads exchanges (including header-bidding in ADFOX) without Yandex's prior consent.
3. Terms and conditions for placing Yandex Direct and RTB ad units
3.1. The following requirements must be met when placing ad units:
3.1.1. ad units of other contextual advertising systems should be different from the Yandex ad units;
3.1.2. it is prohibited to change the web page viewing mode for priority ad display;
3.1.3. it is prohibited to hide additional links, images, a favicon of the advertiser's Web site, indication of the region, warnings of various kinds (age, medical) and other elements in ad units (except when their disabling is available in the partner interface of Yandex Advertising Network);
3.1.4. the ad code of other ads display systems should not interfere with the operation of the ad code (code for calling Yandex Direct, RTB ad units) and should not in any way affect the ads displayed;
3.1.5. it is prohibited to place ad code calling ad units for context pages on pages with search results in search engines (this requires using ad code calling ad units for search advertising) without the prior consent of Yandex;
3.1.6. it is prohibited to place the code calling ad units of Yandex Advertising Network (both direct and integration units of Yandex Advertising Network via ADFOX) inside the code of other banner systems (Google Ad Manager, AdRiver etc.), and also using other js codes, callback and postmessage functions, replacing one code with another, etc;
3.1.7. it is prohibited to use recursive calls to the code of RTB ad units;
3.1.8. if the ad unit is on one screen, it should not be reloaded more than once every 30 seconds;
3.1.9. placement of AppOpen Ads format is allowed only when the app is transitioning from a closed/hidden state to an open/presented to the user:
3.1.9.1. it is prohibited to show AppOpen Ads when the app is opened outside the app that contains it;
3.1.9.2. it is prohibited to show AppOpen Ads when opening an app on top of elements that are not part of and/or on the screen of the app;
3.1.9.3. it is prohibited to show AppOpen Ads when opening an app, if the return to the app was not initiated by the user.
3.1.10. it is prohibited to show ads in operating systems, including mobile operating systems, if the process of interacting with the application, installed in such systems, including returning to the application previously opened by the user, was not initiated by the user himself.
3.1.11. it is prohibited to show ads in operating systems, including mobile operating systems, outside of the Partner's application, including in other applications installed in such systems.
3.2. When placing ad units that overlap the content of the web page (overlay units), the following requirements must be met:
3.2.1. it is allowed to place overlay blocks on desktop versions of resources only in the Floor ad block type;
3.2.2. when placing overlay units, the following conditions must be met:
3.2.2.1. placement is allowed only on devices with a screen width of 320 to 420 px
3.2.2.2. placement of overlay units is possible only if there is a "Close ad" button outside the ad creative area.
3.2.2.3. the height of overlay units on mobile versions of resources should not exceed 30% of the device screen area (including the "Close ad" button),
3.2.2.4. the unit can only be attached to the bottom edge of the screen;
3.2.2.5. the "Close ad" button should be easily accessible and visually distinguishable against the background of the content of the web page;
3.2.3. It is allowed to place Full-Screen ad units on resources only in the Full-Screen and Rewarded block types.
3.2.3.1. It is allowed to place Full-Screen ad units on desktop versions of resources only during inter-page transitions.
3.2.3.2. Placement of “Full-Screen” format with extraneous design elements and controls is prohibited.
3.2.3.3 Placement of Rewarded block types is allowed only through a certain button and/or action on the resource. The text of the button and/or the call to action on the resource must be unambiguous so that the user can understand that after his actions a Rewarded block type will open, and after the end of the advertisement he will receive certain advantages due to the functionality of the resource. Benefits should not represent the earning of real money and / or digital currency and / or in-game currency (which can be withdrawn to other resources, transferred to another user, exchanged for real money and / or digital currency, as well as goods and / or services) and / or other similar types of earnings as defined in the subparagraph e) clause 1.1 of the Rules of Participation.
3.2.4. It is prohibited to place any formats where ads pop up in a separate browser window, such as Pop-up, Pop-under.
3.2.5. In a player without video content, i.e., content generated from images, text, looped videos or stock videos, video design can be placed at the RTB ad unit level. Reloading one RTB ad unit is allowed no more than once every 30 seconds.
3.2.6. It is allowed to place ad units that move along with the content following the scrolling of a part of the page, only if they do not overlap the content of the page.
3.2.7. Advertising must not prevail over the content of the page; this restriction does not apply to the use of an ad unit in the "Feed" format.
3.2.8. An ad unit in the "Feed" format cannot be placed on the first screen of the page; it can only be placed after the main content of the site on the last or penultimate screens of the site page.
3.2.9. It is prohibited to simultaneously show a block in the "Feed" format and overlay units on the page.
4. Terms and conditions of advertising placement
In the video:
Partner Resources (platforms) that can host video ads in Instream format must meet the following requirements:
4.1. In terms of traffic:
4.1.1. daily website traffic of at least 10,000 visitors;
4.1.2. All websites hosting the partner's player in the embeds should be added as mirrors in the video resource. Otherwise, the display of video ads in the partner's player may be suspended;
4.2. In terms of content:
4.2.1. the platform complies with the requirements of the laws and does not violate the rights of third parties;
4.2.2. do not contain casino ads, flickering banners or other elements that are contrary to advertising law or generally accepted advertising standards;
4.2.3. the number of ads in the unit does not exceed 4 on the long duration content (over 10 minutes), not more than 2 ads in the short duration content (less than 10 minutes), unless otherwise additionally agreed with Yandex;
4.2.4. the duration of the content in the player must be at least 2 minutes;
4.2.5. placement of video ads is allowed only inside the player containing video content, subject to the following conditions:
4.2.5.1. the player contains legal and licensed content;
4.2.5.2. the player contains a set of unique video materials and / or videos presented in a multimedia format created for the needs and interests of the target audience of the website and relevant to the content and theme of the website;
4.2.6. it is prohibited to place Instream advertising in a player without video content (clause 3.2.6 of the Rules of Participation).
4.3. Technical parameters:
4.3.1. mandatory transmission of real referrers in the request body;
4.3.2. the minimum size allowed size for the player — 320x180 px, with one of its sides being at least 180px. Displays in smaller player sizes will not be counted. If the player size cannot be determined for any reason, the displays will not be counted;
4.3.3. the major traffic should be on the html5 player;
4.3.4. it is not allowed to place RTB ad units in the player with video content comprising a set of unique video materials and/or video clips (clause 4.2.5.2 of the Rules of Participation) or on top of it;
4.3.5. it is not allowed to overlap the ad or to draw additional elements on top of the video ad;4.3.6. it is not allowed to draw ads on top of third-party players with content;
4.3.7. recursive code calls of video ads are not allowed;
4.3.8. it is not allowed to place the code for calling YAN video ads (both direct and integration YAN ads via ADFOX) should be placed inside the code of other banner systems (Google Ad Manager AdRiver, etc.), as well as other js codes, callback and postmessage functions, replacement of one code with another;
4.3.9. a video content player should be located in the website's content and not overlap the content of the page;
4.3.10. responsibility for non-compliance with this Rules of Participation regarding InStream format is borne by the Partner, on whose Resource impressions of this format are recorded. In case of non-compliance with the Rules of Participation, Yandex has the right to stop impressions at the page id level of this Resource and until the violations are corrected. In the event of repeated violation of the Rules of Participation, Yandex has the right to stop displays of ads on the entire Resource of the Partner until the violations are eliminated.
4.4. Traffic quality:
4.4.1. no more than 30% of the undetermined soc-dem data by Crypta;
4.4.2. periodic audit by Yandex on the quality of traffic and the absence of bots (at least once a month);
4.4.3. the actual visibility for in-stream is at least 60% (at least 50% of the player is in the user's line of sight for at least 2 seconds), statistical visibility is also at least 60% (the ratio of counted displays to the number of successful ad selections), in-page visibility is at least 30% (the ratio of counted displays to the number of successful ad selections);
4.4.4. viewing to the end of the ad is not less than 70%;
4.4.5. minimum ctr – 0.5%.
4.4.6. the only video player in sight, including video players that move following the user when scrolling or pinned video players, including on top of the content.
In the audio ads:
Partner Resource on which audio ads can be placed must meet the following requirements:4.5. In terms of traffic:
4.5.1. daily traffic of at least 10,000 visitors;
4.5.2. all platforms hosting the partner's player must undergo compulsory moderation;
4.6. By content quality:
4.6.1. the platform complies with the requirements of the laws and does not violate the rights of third parties;
4.6.2. do not contain casino ads, flickering banners or other elements that are contrary to advertising law or generally accepted advertising standards;
4.6.3. the platform provides only legal and licensed content for listening;
4.6.4. the number of advertising spots in the audio stream does not exceed 4 per hour of playback and not more than 2 spots per 15-minute interval of content playback, unless otherwise additionally agreed upon with Yandex, or another cycle of playback is stipulated by the terms of placement of the relevant type of ad units;
4.7. Technical parameters:
4.7.1. mandatory transmission in the request body of only real referrers and other data about the content and the user, as required by the technical documentation on connecting to Yandex Advertising Network;
4.7.2. the majority of traffic should fall on the html5 player or mobile applications, for a flash player should not exceed 20%;
4.8. Traffic quality:
4.8.1. no more than 30% of the undetermined soc-dem data by Crypta;
4.8.2. the number of playbacks until the end of the ad is at least 30%.
4.9. Yandex has the right to audit the quality of traffic and the absence of bots (at least once a month);
In the player:
4.10. Player – a specialized computer program, access to which can be provided to the Partner in the manner prescribed in the following document «Terms of Access to the Player» (https://yandex.com/legal/yan_player_terms).
The Partner agrees to the Terms of Access to the Player and undertakes to comply therewith. In case of contradictions between the provisions of the Offer and the specified document in terms of interaction of the Parties related to providing Partner access to the Player, the provisions of the Offer shall apply, unless otherwise provided by the Offer.
4.11. [Reserved for future changes].
On the Yandex Games platform
4.12. If the Partner is a game developer and in the process of the Acceptance of the Offer through the Partner Interface, the appropriate option for the participation of the Partner Resources in Yandex Advertising Network is selected, then in terms of interaction between Yandex and the Partner, the provisions of the "Yandex Games Developer License Agreement" located at https://yandex.com/legal/yandexgames shall apply to the Partner Resources. In the event of a conflict between the Offer and the above document, the provisions of the Offer shall apply. The Parties have also agreed that the provisions of clause 3.8.2 of the Offer shall not apply to the Services that Partner, which is a game developer, renders to Yandex.In accordance with the design of the Partner Resource (Native advertising):
4.13. If, through the Partner Interface, the Partner selects the functionality that allows the Partner to adapt the Advertising materials placed by Yandex in accordance with the design of the Partner's Resource ("Native advertising"), and/or the Partner uses the functionality of recommendation widgets with Native advertising embedded therein, the Partner undertakes to comply with the requirements posted at https://yandex.com/support/partner/inapp/formats/native.html#native__rules and agrees with the following:
4.13.1. Yandex shall not be liable to the Partner for Native advertising and shall not control its content after the Partner adapts it in accordance with the design of the Partner Resource;
4.13.2. Partner shall independently and at its own expense consider claims and resolve disputes related to the placement of Native advertising;
4.13.3. Yandex shall not reimburse any losses, property losses or any other expenses that may be incurred by the Partner as a result of placement of the Native advertising on the Partner Resources;
4.13.4. Clauses 3.8.1. and 6.2. of the Offer shall not apply to the placement of Native advertising on the Partner Resources.
4.13.5. The Parties have agreed that provisions of clauses 4.13.1 - 4.13.4 of the Rules of Participation are not applicable in case of claims, disputes, losses, property losses or any other expenses associated with placement of the Native advertising, the content whereof was not changed by the Partner (in this case technical adaptation by the Partner of the Advertising materials to design of the Partner's Resource without making changes in the content and elements of the Advertising is not a change for the purposes of this clause).
4.13.6. If the placement of Native advertising contradicts the requirements of the Offer and/or these Rules of Participation, Yandex has the right to send a corresponding request to correct the design settings of Native advertising or to terminate and/or suspend the placement of such Advertising until Yandex settles disputes with the Partner.
With moderation on the DSP side (or external ad networks)
4.14. If, through the Partner Interface or by sending a corresponding application, the Partner selects a functionality that assumes that Advertising materials of a special format will be displayed on Advertising Spaces on the Partner Resources without moderation by Yandex ("Advertising with moderation on the DSP side"), the Partner agrees to the following:
4.14.1. Yandex shall not be liable for Advertising with moderation on the DSP side to the Partner and shall not control its content;
4.14.2. Partner shall independently and at its own expense consider claims and resolve disputes related to the placement of Advertising with moderation on the DSP side on the Partner Resources;
4.14.3. Yandex shall not reimburse any losses, property losses or any other expenses that may be incurred by the Partner as a result of placement of Advertising with moderation on the DSP side on the Partner Resources;
4.14.4. Clauses 3.8.1. and 6.2. of the Offer shall not apply to the placement of Advertising with moderation on the DSP side on the Partner Resources.
5. Terms and conditions for placing an ad unit with the Turbo Pages type
5.1. If the Partner and/or its authorized representative uses the Turbo Pages service provided by Yandex in accordance with the document "Terms of Use of Turbo Pages" (https://yandex.com/legal/turbo_termsofuse), the Partner agrees to the following conditions for placing ad units with the Turbo Pages type:
5.2. "Partner Resources" and "Advertising Space" (according to the definitions of these terms in the relevant agreement on participation in Yandex Advertising Network (hereinafter referred to as the YAN Agreement) concluded between Yandex and the Partner ("Owner" or "Partner" in terms and definitions of the YAN Agreement), subject to the Rules of Participation, shall have the following meanings:
"Partner Resources" — websites on the Internet (including versions for desktops, tablets and/or other mobile devices), computer programs, mobile applications, other digital media, as well as their content and their constituent elements (information, files and other data included in the Resources), connected by the Partner to Yandex Advertising Network in agreement with Yandex. In particular cases the Partner Resources, including their components, may be provided by the Partner to Internet users using Yandex's software and technical means;
"Advertising Space" - a space allocated on the Partner's Resource in the design of a web page or in the interface of a computer program (including for mobile devices) for the placement of Ads by Yandex.
5.3. The services described in clause 2.1 of the YAN Agreement and/or the Offer and rendered by the Partner to Yandex also include services related to ensuring the placement of Ad Code and/or display of Advertising by Yandex by other technical means on Advertising Spaces on the Partner Resources (including their constituent elements), which are provided by the Partner to Internet users by using Yandex software and technical means, including, but not limited to, when:
5.3.1. Yandex provides the Partner with a technical possibility to provide Internet users with access to the Partner's resource (or its particular elements) through the Yandex website, its components and services; or
5.3.2. the Partner Resource (or its particular elements) is placed on a software and/or hardware platform provided by Yandex; or
5.3.3. The Partner Resource (or its particular elements) is displayed by technological export of data, content, elements or other components of the Partner's resource to the corresponding service or to the corresponding Yandex website, either through technical integration or by other means.
5.4. In addition to the Partner's obligations stipulated in clause 3.5 of the YAN Agreement and/or in section 3 of the Offer, the Partner also undertakes not to change any technical characteristics of the Partner Resources, their content, elements or other components that entail non-compliance of the format of Advertising Spaces with the requirements of the Agreement and the Rules of Participation, as well as complicating the provision by the Partner of Services stipulated by the YAN Agreement and/or the Rules of Participation. If the Partner changes the subject matter of any of the Partner Resources, the Partner shall be obliged to notify Yandex in writing (including by email) on the day of making changes.
5.5. The Partner agrees that creation of the corresponding ad unit of the Turbo Pages type is considered as the Partner's agreement with the terms and conditions set forth in the Rules of Participation, as well as with the terms and conditions of the "Terms of Use of Turbo Pages" document (https://yandex.com/legal/turbo_termsofuse).
5.6. The Partner agrees to contact Yandex within three (3) working days from the date of creation of the first ad unit with the Turbo Pages type in order to conclude a corresponding supplementary agreement to the YAN Agreement. The Partner agrees that if the Partner fails to comply with the above condition of the Rules of Participation, Yandex has the right to block the Partner's ability to create ad units with the Turbo Pages type and to suspend the placement of already created ad units with the Turbo Pages type.
5.7. All terms described above shall be construed within the meaning described in the relevant YAN Agreement/Offer.
5.8. The Partner agrees and acknowledges that the terms and conditions of placement of ad units with the Turbo Pages type described above shall prevail over the terms and conditions of the YAN Agreement/Offer until the relevant supplementary agreement thereto enters into force.
6. Terms and conditions for ad placement on search results pages in search engines
When placing ads on search results pages in search engines, the following rules must be observed:
6.1. Two types of search (keyword) advertising can be placed on search results pages: (a) "Premium" - as that term is defined in the Display Rules posted at https://yandex.com/legal/direct_display_rules_ch , and "Guarantee" - ads located below the search results. "Premium" and "Guarantee" are jointly referred to as “Yandex Direct Ad”.
6.1.1. If the response from the Yandex advertising system contains "Premium", it must be shown once, strictly in full, strictly in the specified order of ads and strictly below the search bar and above the search results and above the rest of the content (search results, any other elements). Thus, the presence of other elements between the search bar and the "Premium" is not allowed.
6.1.2. If the response from the Yandex advertising system contains "Guarantee", it must be shown once, strictly in full, strictly in the specified order of ads and under the search results.
6.1.3. "Premium" should not contain more than four ads. "Guarantee" should not contain more than five ads.
6.1.4. Yandex Direct Ad can be accompanied by the text link "Yandex Direct", "Direct", "Advertising", "₽", "P", indicating that the advertisement is provided by Yandex. Duplication of Yandex Direct Ad is not allowed under search results on search results pages.
6.1.5. The placement of only one Yandex Direct Ad in the presence of both types of Yandex Direct Ad in the response from the Yandex advertising system is prohibited.
6.1.6. The placement of ad code calling Yandex Direct Ad for search advertising is possible only on pages with search results (if any).
6.1.7. It is prohibited to place an ad code for calling Yandex Direct Ad for search advertising with the transmission of pre-set search queries.
6.1.8. If search results are provided using the Yandex XML Service (http://xml.yandex.ru) or the Yandex Site Search Service, the partner shall observe the restrictions described in the sections of the Yandex.XML Service License (https://yandex.com/legal/xml) and the Terms of Use for the Yandex Site Search Service (https://yandex.ru/legal/site_termsofuse) respectively.6.1.9. It is prohibited to place more than one "Premium" ad and one "Guarantee" ad on the search page, unless otherwise separately agreed with Yandex.
6.2. The font size of the advertisement shall not be less than:
6.2.1. the font size used for search results placed on the pages of the Partner's websites and/or in the interface of computer programs containing advertising spaces and being the Partner Resources;
6.2.2. the font size used for ads placed on the pages of the Partner's websites and/or in the interface of computer programs containing advertising spaces and being the Partner Resources;
6.2.3. the font size used for information placed on the pages of the Partner's websites and/or in the interface of computer programs containing advertising spaces and being the Partner Resources.
6.3. The number of Yandex Direct Ad cannot be more than two, their presence is determined by the response of the Yandex advertising system.
6.4. Any changes in the design of Yandex Direct Ad, the composition and arrangement of Yandex Direct Ad on search results pages compared to that used by Yandex when displaying Yandex search (keyword) advertising shall be agreed by the Partner with Yandex by sending a page layout with explicitly stated changes. After receiving the request and the layout, Yandex within thirty (30) calendar days shall confirm the changes or express its objections, which should be taken into account by the Partner when finalizing. The absence of objections within thirty (30) calendar days shall be considered Yandex's consent to the proposed changes.6.5. The Partner shall configure its software and hardware, that ensure the operability of the Partner's search engine, so that it works according to the following algorithm: a) upon receipt of a search query from a user in the Partner's search engine interface (search form), the text of the search query, the unique user identifier (guid), referer (HTTP/HTTPS referer of the user), the User-agent and the IP address of the user's computer from which the query was made, as well as the ID (if technically possible) are automatically sent to the system of displaying Yandex advertising materials, b) in response, the Partner receives advertising materials that meet the criteria for displaying search (keyword) advertising, as defined by the advertiser, c) all advertising materials received for the given search query are shown to the user (placed) on the corresponding pages of the Partner Resources taking into account the size of advertising spaces (without reducing the actual number of advertising materials that can be shown in the corresponding Yandex Direct Ad).
6.5.1. The Partner shall take all reasonable and possible efforts to ensure uninterrupted operation of the software and hardware required for automatic and real-time placement of Advertising on the Partner Resources.6.5.1.1. The Partner shall be obliged to display in full all advertising provided by Yandex (taking into account the size of advertising spaces) without any changes (in content, ranking, volume, etc.) in a form that complies with the terms of the Offer and the Rules of Participation. If there are advertising materials matching the search query, such advertising is placed on the appropriate advertising spaces.
6.6. The Partner undertakes to display on advertising spaces all advertising provided by Yandex (taking into account the size of Advertising Spaces), i.e. the Partner has no right:
6.6.1. to change hyperlink addresses contained in the advertising, otherwise change the user's redirection from advertising indicated by Yandex;
6.6.2. to replace or in any other way prevent the user from accessing the pages (websites) to which hyperlinks in the advertising lead when the user applies (clicks) to such Advertisement;
6.6.3. to delete, edit, minimize Yandex advertising (pages with ads), apply filters thereto, change the order, type and other characteristics of advertising display on the established advertising spaces;
6.6.4. to disable the display of advertising or to display it partially (not completely).
6.7. In case the Partner applies to Yandex with a request to display a search (keyword) advertising, and it is not displayed when Yandex provided advertising in response to such a request, Yandex shall have the right to suspend and/or terminate the order of Partner's Services in terms of displaying search (keyword) advertising on the corresponding Resource.
6.8. The placement of ads on search results pages is available only for resources with more than 20,000,000 unique users per month. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Yandex reserves the right to reject any application for participation in the Advertising Network by placing ads on the search results pages and/or to stop displaying ads on the corresponding resource of the partner that does not comply with the requirements of the Offer and/or the Rules of Participation, without explaining the reasons.
7. Terms of Access to the ADFOX service
7.1. For the purposes of rendering Services, the Partner is provided with controlled remote access to the ADFOX online service on the terms set out in the document "Terms of Access to the ADFOX service", posted at https://yandex.com/legal/adfox_terms_ch , with the exception of the "Data Provider Segments (DMP)" Service stipulated by the document specified in this clause, the Partner agrees with and undertakes to comply with the terms thereof. In case of contradictions between the provisions of the Offer and the specified document in terms of interaction of the Parties related to providing Partner access to the ADFOX online service, the provisions of the Offer shall apply, unless otherwise provided by the Offer.
7.2. With regard to the Parties' interaction in terms of providing Partner's access to ADFOX online service, as well as in terms of collection, processing and use of User Data, the provisions of clause 2.3.3 of the "Terms of Access to the ADFOX service" (https://yandex.com/legal/adfox_terms_ch ) shall prevail over the provisions of paragraph 8.2.1 of the Rules of Participation. In all other matters relating to the execution of the Agreement by the Parties, the Parties shall be governed by the provisions of paragraph 8.2.1 of the Rules of Participation.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1. In case of violation of the terms and conditions hereof, Yandex reserves the right to stop displaying advertising on the partner's resource and (or) to take other measures to protect the interests of advertisers whose ads are displayed on the resources of partners of Yandex Advertising Network.
8.2. The Partner agrees and acknowledges that various technical means can be integrated into the Yandex ad code in order to ensure that Yandex properly fulfills its obligations to Yandex customers (including, but not limited to, various tools for targeting advertising materials, for fixing the number of displays, clicks, and other parameters for displaying advertising materials on advertising spaces). At the same time, the Partner agrees that the composition of the Yandex ad code, as well as the technical means integrated into it, is determined by Yandex at its sole discretion.
8.2.1. Partner’s participation in YAN is subject to the Data Processing Agreement available on https://yandex.com/legal/yan_dpa_ch. The Partner understands and agrees that the provisions of such Data Processing Agreement prevail over the terms set by respective YAN participation agreement between the Partner and Yandex as well as over the terms of these Rules.
8.3. The Partner agrees and acknowledges that in order to improve the efficiency of interaction between Yandex and the Partner and to improve the functionality of Yandex Advertising Network, Yandex shall have the right to periodically conduct experiments in which the formats, frequency, design, display method and/or conditions of placing advertising on the Partner' Resources may change. When conducting experiments, Yandex does not guarantee the display of ads on the Partner Resources, or the display of ads of a certain format. At the same time, the experiments do not affect the terms and procedure for settlements between Yandex and the Partner under the corresponding YAN Agreement.
8.3.1. Yandex reserves the right to conduct experiments, as a result of which advertising on certain platforms may not be charged for the purposes of providing Services under the Agreement.
8.4. Yandex reserves the right to reject any application for participation in Yandex Advertising Network and/or stop displaying ads on the partner's resource if the Partner and/or the Partner's resource does not meet the requirements of the Offer and/or the Rules of Participation, without explaining the reasons.
8.5. The Partner agrees that Yandex has the right to refuse to place the corresponding resource in Yandex Advertising Network if such resource has already been placed by another entity with which Yandex has signed the YAN Agreement.
8.6. The Partner of Yandex Advertising Network undertakes to comply with the Rules of Participation. The Partner of Yandex Advertising Network agrees that Yandex has the right to unilaterally amend the Rules of Participation.
